Tasman Industries seeks AOM and ABE graduates

Tasman Industries is the largest independent cattle hide processor in the world. We are now the only vertically integrated independent company going from the raw material, further processing to finished leather and manufacturing finished leather products.

We are seeking students who have the desire to learn the operations of cattle hide processing and be trained to be a facility manager as their career progresses. I am looking for Operations Managers and Agricultural Engineers.
The Job details are as follows:

Operations Managers: (Minimum 5 Positions Available)

Locations Available: Texas (Ft. Worth and Amarillo), Nebraska (Omaha), Kentucky (Louisville), Idaho (Boise), Oregon (Portland).

Responsibilities are:

- Disciplined and well-organized
- Responsible for safety and well-being within the factory
- Daily Inventory Production
- Schedule of shipments
- Hands on management
- Responsible for the entire floor operations.

 Side notes: (*Not Requirements)

 - Bi-lingual Spanish - Preferred
 - Slaughterhouse or Cattle hides familiarity
 - Completion of Training programs at our Headquarters in Louisville.

Agricultural Engineers: ( Minimum 5 positions available)

Locations Available: Texas (Ft. Worth and Amarillo), Nebraska (Omaha), Kentucky (Louisville), Wisconsin (Milwaukee)

Responsibilities are:

- Disciplined and well-organized
- Hands on supervision of Maintenance staff
- Responsible for structural, mechanical and electrical operations.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance.
- Design and fabricate operational facilities
- Responsible for the entire floor operations as it pertains to the mechanical elements.
- Forklift maintenance*
- Experience working with Drives, hydraulics, pumps, and basic electrical understanding.
