NSF REU Site: iCER ACRES- Advanced Computational Research Experience for Students
Michigan State University will host a 10-week NSF summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in computational and data science beginning May 21-July 28, 2017.
Projects provided through iCER ACRES: Advanced Computational Research Experience for Students (ACRES) focus on the development and enhancement of algorithms, models, and software for applications in multiple research areas that require high-performance computing resources.
Research areas include: computational chemistry, computational biology, computational physics, computational mathematics, bioinformatics, big data science, and computational electromagnetics.
Who should apply: Undergraduate US citizens or permanent residents from a wide variety of fields, including STEM fields, are invited to apply
Applications accepted: October 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017
