Dr. Sharon Austin, Director of the African American Studies Program and Professor of Political Science, is teaching an African Americans in Paris class during spring break 2019. Students can earn 2-3 hours of credit hour and the course is open to all students, all majors, and to both graduate and undergraduate students. In Paris, we will visit a number of historic sites of significance to African Americans. The $2750 cost for undergraduates doesn't include airfare, but does include lodging, some meals, transportation in Paris, and tickets to all of the site visits.
