Solar Stik Internship Program

Solar Stik is a small, but growing company focused on constant innovation and leading-edge technology in the ever evolving portable/hybrid power market. At the very core of our principles is the belief that developing application-based power solutions by using American-made products provides real value to the user. Our clients consist of The U.S. Army, Navy, Northrup Grumman, FBI, and other government agencies. Solar Stik employs several Gators, including COO Stephanie Hollis, M.D. We were also awarded the Gator100 Award in 2016. Please explore STIKopedia on our website to learn more about our technologies and design principles.

The objective of the Solar Stik Engineering Internship Program is to provide undergraduate students with valuable work experience in their field of study and opportunities to build on classroom learning by the observation and active participation in the day-to-day conduction of projects. Qualified applicants will participate in a two-part interview process including a brief initial phone interview with myself and a second in-person interview with the Engineering Department Manager. The internship is a part-time, temporary position of 90 days or less. Compensation is $12/hour, with a maximum of 30 hours per week. The daily scheduled hours will be determined by the department manager. Interns are responsible for arranging room and board accommodations independently.

Students should send their resumes and cover letter to Hannah Rhodes
hrhodes@solarstik.com, or to careers@solarstik.com. I have attached the KRAs for each position to provide interested students with more information, and have also posted the openings on the Gator Career Link.
