East Foundation Internship: Ranch Management

The East Foundation is a nonprofit organization that focuses on advancing land stewardship through ranching, science, and education. Once operated by the East family, the foundation started after the passing of Robert East in 2007. In honor of the East family, the Foundation continues to demonstrate a commitment to land conservation and ranching heritage by operating integrated programs of research, education, and outreach. We work on over 215,000 acres spread across South Texas on six different ranches. The foundation wants to immerse participants of the internship program in all aspects of the ranches to get a diverse learning experience on the South Texas ranching, range, and wildlife.

This internship is based at the San Antonio Viejo Ranch, 45 minutes south of Hebbronville, and will include work on East Foundation properties throughout South Texas. Juniors, seniors, or recent graduates in Natural Resources, Animal Science, Wildlife and Range Management or related degree programs are encouraged to apply.
