We have a position available for a Risk Management Analyst, located in Valdosta, Georgia. The position is under the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Risk Management Agency. This is a full-time position.

About RMA: The Risk Management Agency (RMA), provides crop insurance to American farmers and ranchers. Private-sector insurance companies sell and service the policies. RMA develops and/or approves the premium rate, administers premium and expense subsidies, approves and supports products, and reinsures the companies. RMA also sponsors educational and outreach programs and seminars on the general topic of risk management. RMA employs approximately 430 people in offices around the country. Major duties include:
•Performing analytical, evaluative, developmental, and coordination assignments in direct support of Regional office implementation and maintenance of risk management programs;
•Researching risk management program data for trend analysis and program performance;
•Preparing a variety of reports concerning crop insurance regional and national issues for the Regional Office Director and Insurance Services Headquarters;
•Providing analytical support for responses to requests for crop insurance actuarial changes, added land requests, and determined yield requests.
