Opportunities for Leadership and Service

Project for Peace

Come out to our Project for Peace info session on Wednesday, November 4th from 5:30 – 7pm in the Ocora at Pugh Hall.

The University of Florida, in a partnered institution with the Davis United World College Scholars Program is pleased to announce the opportunity for undergraduate students to design a grassroots project for peace. The winning project will receive a $10,000 grant towards implementation and the chance to travel anywhere in the world to perform the service project. With this opportunity, each student has the ability to make a positive difference in the world. Those interested should come out to the event, learn how to apply, and find about last year’s winners. Servant Leader Roundtable

Coming up Oct. 29th at 6 p.m. is the Servant Leader Roundtable for the fall semester. Participate in the discussion about the state of the University's leadership and service programming as well as examine the opportunities to network with fellow campus leadership and service organizations. The Center for Leadership and Service wants to hear how we could better help you. Gator Global Institute

The Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) has just opened participant registration for our social impact conference, Gator Global Initiative! This conference is meant to inspire students to find their passion and turn it into action by working with other students and discussing topics to develop into community leaders. The conference will be taking place November 13th-14th and will involve the discussion of social justice, relationship building/networking, and a speech from our Keynote Speaker, Jacob Atem.
