Alachua Conservation Trust- Agricultural Conservation Specialist Position-Deadline to apply is 3/5/21

The Agricultural Conservation Specialist’s primary activity will be to increase technical assistance to landowners within Florida’s portion of the Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 6 Suwannee Basin to accelerate the conveyance of the Natural Resources Conservation Service’s (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Agricultural Conservation Easement Programs (ACEP).

The 3 areas of responsibility include:

• Land Conservation & Farm Bill Program Enrollment
• Outreach & Communications
• Organizational Responsibilities & Development

This is a full-time position with secure grant funding for 2 full years
Starting salary range $44,000 to $50,000 based on experience.
