Belize Undergrad Study Abroad - Spring Break 2015

Two information sessions for students interested in the undergraduate study abroad program to Belize during Spring Break 2015 (Feb. 28-March 8 ) will be held on Monday, Nov. 10 from noon-1 and from 4-5 p.m. in the Mac lab (107 Bryant Hall). The sessions are being held during the day and late afternoon to accommodate as many students’ schedules as possible. During the information sessions, your questions will be answered about the study abroad experience.

During the study abroad program, students will learn about major agricultural and natural resource issues in Belize. This will be a SPECIAL SECTION of AEC 4065: Issues in Agricultural and Life Sciences. If you have already taken AEC 4065, you can sign up for a section of AEC 4905. This course is applicable for all students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Cost of the study abroad experience will be $2,200 (which ALSO includes tuition); this does not include airfare. The study abroad will be led by Ms. Becky Raulerson and Drs. Grady Robert and Ricky Telg. Please see the attached flier for more details or contact one of these instructors.

The application to go on the study abroad is due by December 12: https://www.abroad.ufic.ufl.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgram&Program_ID=12200
