Kohl's opportunity - Merchandise Analyst Trainee

As a Merchandise Analyst Trainee you will use your creative and analytical problem solving skills to analyze sales and inventory to create strategies, work with your team, and execute plans in order to send the correct amount of inventory to the right place at the right time.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Responsible for the proper allocation of all incoming inventory to every Kohl’s store throughout the country. Utilize and manage replenishment systems to keep replenishment items in-stock, by store to maximize sales. Communicate with vendors on item forecasts and inventory requirements.

Sales & Financial Data Analysis: Analyze sales and inventory reports to effectively manage store inventories. Generate and analyze replenishment reports. Take action as needed to adjust system to maintain inventory goals.

E-Commerce: Ensure 100% of the replenishment assortments are online, all orders are passed and that each item is maintaining Kohl’s service level standards. Learn web analytics, social media, mobile commerce, search optimization, direct-to-consumer and multi-location fulfillment.

New Store Opening Operations: Develop and execute new store budgets and floor plans with the Buying Office and the Merchandise Presentation Office. Manage all New Store inventories during the new store process.

Logistics: Work with Kohl’s Logistic Department and vendors to track shipments from our global and domestic suppliers to ensure on time deliveries to our 10 Distribution Centers. Monitor flow of merchandise from our Distribution Center to the stores.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or related field
